A vegan is not going to convert a meat-eater or vice versa. So, when Jonnie encountered someone who criticized him for his meat-eating ways, he had the perfect response. I finished reading the Bible in 36 days, he said. And I got to the part in Matthew where it says Jesus died for me. Yo! I didnt even know until age 27 that Jesus died for me. I didnt know until I read it right there in Matthew. Ive been to church, people. But nobody was explaining it in a way that I could clearly understand what took place. And then I read right there in Matthew that he died. I was like, What? Then I turned to Mark, and he died again! Im like, What in the world? John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to destruction but have eternal life.
