Brett Eldredge has shared a new installment in his “Live at Royal Plum” series. The latest is a stripped down version of “When I Die,” which is featured on his latest release “Sunday Drive.” 

Mickey Guyton has debuted the new video for her latest track “Heaven Down Here.” The video is reflective of the world going on today, with images if empty classrooms and stadiums, as well as front line workers, Black Lives Matter protests and more. 

As we told you, the CMT Music Award nominations were announced last month, with 14 songs in the running for Video of The Year. Well, now the category has been whittled down to just six nominees. 

It was another a big weekend for new country music, with several artists releasing new tunes.

Kane Brown showed his support for the Boys & Girls Club of America by hosting a “Worldwide Beautiful” Town Hall, which was attended by more than 100 members from across the U.S. and those living on U.S. military bases. 

Lindsay Ell just dropped the video for her song “wAnt me back,” which features Lindsay as a part of a fictional Sonny & Cher-like duo, Eddie and Ell.

Ryan Hurd just shared the video for his latest single “Every Other Memory,” directed by Nicki Fletcher.

The guys in Florida Georgia Line have been enjoying their time at home due to the coronavirus, and for Brian Kelly that means eating a lot of his favorite food. He notes, “I don’t care, pandemic or not, I’m gonna eat Vienna sausages the rest of my damn life.”

The coronavirus pandemic has forced independent music venues across the country to close, and it’s expected that many won’t survive the shut down. Well, now a group of artists are doing what they can to raise awareness and money for these important clubs. 

Jason Isbell just dropped the video for “Only Children,” a song that appears on ”Reunions,” his latest album with the 400 Unit. 

Josh Turner has dropped a new video for his cover of Vern Gosdin’s “I Can Tell By The Way You Dance.” Josh goes nostalgic for the song’s video, harkening back to the 80s and 90s and the popular country dance shows “Club Dance” and the “Wild Horse Saloon Dance Show.”

Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren will celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary on October 12^th, but they’ve been together much longer than that.  They actually went to school together in first grade, and then really met in sixth grade and Thomas says even though he was only 11 or 12  he "fell in love with her that day."

Jon Pardi debuted his new CMT digital variety series earlier this week, which is called, appropriately enough, “Pardi Time.”

Kane Brown and “Modern Family’s” Sarah Hyland have been announced as co-hosts for the upcoming CMT Music Awards. And they won’t be the only ones. The show is set to have four hosts this year, with the other pair to be announced ahead of the October 21^st show.

Tim McGraw has been chosen as the third honoree of the Tom Hanks Caregiver Champion Award, and will be celebrated for his support of military and veteran caregivers. Tim became interested in working with caregiver programs after becoming a caregiver of his father Tug McGraw, who died in 2004 from brain cancer.

Cam recently dropped the video for her latest single “Classic,” where she gets to channel Marilyn Monroe. The fun clip is filled with bright pink and furs, with Cam celebrating all the classic things that never go out of style, including her romance.

CMT will be celebrating emerging artists during the upcoming 2020 CMT Music Awards. Producers just announced the lineup for the Ram Trucks Side Stage featuring six breakout artists, including Caylee Hammack, HARDY, Ingrid Andress, Mickey Guyton, Riley Green and Travis Denning.

Gabby Barrett is the subject of a new Amazon Music documentary where she reveals how she first caught now-husband Cade Foehner’s eye when they were competing on “American Idol.” 

Reba McEntire is set to return as host of the CMA Awards for a fifth time, and she’ll be joined this year by first time host Darius Rucker.
