Brad Paisley headlined the Houston Rodeo this weekend, but before he performed in front of thousands of people he headlined a concert for a much smaller audience.
The singer made a surprise appearance at the Blue Door Coffee Company in Woodlands, Texas, where he played a set for about 150 people, treating them to such songs as “Ticks,” “I’m Gonna Miss Her” and “Alcohol.”
So why this coffee shop? Well, it turns out Brad has been friends with owner Chad Gauntt for “more than a decade.” "He's a huge coffee guy," Gauntt tells the “Houston Chronicle.” "He said, 'I'm gonna play there. I promise you.' Every time we would talk, he'd ask.”
