Carly Pearce Shares Demo Of New Song, Covers Rascal Flatts

Carly Pearce just previewed some new music for fans sharing a piece of a demo, called “Heart First.”

“This is a demo that I sang in one take, in a closet,” she shares on Instagram. “I wrote it for anyone who’s ever realized their heart and head don’t always line up... 💔♥️.” 

• ONE MORE THING! Carly also shared a clip of her singing Rascal Flatts’ classic “Bless The Broken Road." “This year marks 20 years of one of the best groups ever in country music, @rascalflatts 🤍 I’ve always been a super fan, but in the last few years they have become my friends,” she writes on Instagram. “This song has such a beautiful message of hope, one that rings true so much to me these days.”

So many of y’all have been asking about new music, so I thought I’d share one. This is a demo that I sang in one take, in a closet (#quarantine) This is called “Heart First”. I wrote it for anyone who’s ever realized their heart and head don’t always line up... 💔♥️ “Head couldn’t of told me no different if it tried, Had that all in tunnel vision, didn’t think it through, Yeah I only saw what I wanted to...
