CMT’s Annual Artist of the Year celebration took place Wednesday night at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center, and honored some of the biggest women in contemporary country music including Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman and Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott.
