Garth Brooks just announced the release date for the next installment in his “Anthology” series. “The Anthology Part III Live” will drop November 20th, and in addition to a coffee table book, it will include five CDs with 52 live recordings, and more.

The book chronicles Garth’s entire touring career, from college appearances, through to his recent tour, which ended in December. “The Anthology” will also include some music that will appear on Garth’s upcoming “Triple Live Album.”

Although the book is called “Anthology III” this is actually only the second book in the series. “Anthology: Part 1: The First Five Years” came out last November, and part II hasn’t been released yet.

  • Meanwhile, Garth was back with another edition of “Inside Studio G,” which took place from rehearsals for his upcoming Notre Dame show, and gave fans a little peek at the concert’s stage. Garth started off the show by recognizing the anniversary of the Route 91 Festival, and he was joined by wife Trisha Yearwood to acknowledge President Jimmy Carter’s 94th birthday, as well as the start of breast cancer awareness month.
  • As for the October 20th Notre Dame show, Garth said he wants to see everyone come out in full Notre Dame gear, and he’s expecting some tailgating. In fact, Trisha is going to be hosting something called Trisha’s Tailgate, which will be a huge tent on the Irish Green, featuring food, games, TVs to watch games and more.
  • Finally Garth hinted that his Notre Dame soundcheck may be free and open to students and faculty, although a real announcement won’t be coming until next week. Check out this week’s episode here.
