Gwen Stefani Boasts About Blake Shelton's Dad Skills

Gwen Stefani stopped by “Today” to talk about her return to “The Voice” but of course the subject of her beau, and fellow “Voice” coach, Blake Shelton came up, with Hoda Kotb asking her how she thinks he’d be as a father.

"He is a good dad, actually," Gwen says. "He's been helping me out a lot, so I literally get to the point where I'm like, 'You gotta get home, I need help.' It's hard. I got three boys." (She has three sons with ex-Gavin Rossdale.)

Hoda’s love of Blake is well known, and Gwen can understand the feeling. "It's OK, because I relate," she jokes. "He's a magical person. ... I actually am so obsessed with Blake Shelton that I went back and I watched old interviews between you guys because I'm so fascinated that he was alive back then; I didn't know him."

Of course, as a California girl, Gwen didn’t ever expect that she’d fall in love with a country boy. “Life is full of surprises," she says. "I just never thought in my wildest dreams, on paper, a cowboy and a ska-like girl from Anaheim would be hanging out, but it works perfect and we're just having so much fun and we just feel so blessed to be at this point in our lives."
