Jake Owen Tells His Grandparents Love Story In “Homemade” Video

Jake Owen is celebrating his family with the video for his latest single “Homemade.”

The clip tells his grandparents’ real-life love story, with Jake playing the role of his grandfather in the 1940s-set video. It follows a young couple as their relationship blossoms, although it ends with a cliffhanger.

“My grandparents’ story and how they met is truly the American love story,” Jake shares “When I think about the love that people have had together, and I think about their story, there are plenty of songs that could be written about the love they share together.” Check out the video to the right.
