Josh Turner Breaks Silence Following Deadly Tour Bus Crash

Josh Turner’s tour bus was involved in a deadly crash last week, which left his soundman David Turner dead, and several others injured, and now Josh is opening up about how he’s been coping with the tragedy. 

“As I try to write this I don’t know what to say. It’s a struggle to put into words the devastation and grief that our road family is trying to process,” he shares on Facebook. “We lost a beloved member of our team, David Turner. He was like a brother to so many in this industry and a devoted husband, father and grandfather.” 

He adds, “Please continue to keep David’s family in your prayers. All of our crew suffered significant injuries and many have long roads to recovery. I would ask that you give them privacy during this time.”

The other injured crew include Carl Hardin, Justin Lambert, Bradley Dratnol, Richard Lazarus, John Dauphniee, Jed Downing and James Mayo.

Josh also directed fans to a GoFundMe page started by his management company to help out all those who were injured. He adds, “Your prayers have been felt. Please keep praying.”
