Kelsea Ballerini On How She Picked Title For Record

As we previously told you, Kelsea Ballerini’s new album “kelsea” is set to drop on March 20th, and in a recent Twitter Q&A she revealed why she chose to name the album after herself.
“While I was writing and making this album, I was also coming up for air for the first time in 6 years,” she shared. “I was re-getting to know myself. You hear a lot of that throughout the record. It’s the music that puts us on a first name basis.”
As for how she’d describe the record in three words, she notes, “Self aware, dynamic, authentic.”
- Meanwhile, Kelsea is going to be doing a lot of flying as she promotes the album, and with the threat of the coronavirus, she is taking a lot of precautions. In case you missed it, she shared a funny video on Instagram, revealing her plan to put a scarf over her mouth, a bag over her head, gloves on her hands and goggles over her eyes.
