Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood and wife Kelli have treated us to another quarantine song parody. The latest is to Brad Paisley’s “We Danced,” with the pair renaming it “We Zoomed,” in reference to the popular virtual meeting site.
"The room was empty, I was waiting on my team / Sam and Don and Nancy and the HR lady Jean / And then I realized I hadn’t let anybody in / I didn’t know the host had to click admit to begin,” Dave sings, and is later joined by Kelli for “We zoomed. Out there on that internet explorer / This free account, we must be done by four / It’s my subscription I did not renew / And we zoomed.”
As we told you, Dave and Kelli previously shared another parody about quarantine, “Just Another Day in Quarantine,” set to Phil Vassar’s “Just Another Day In Paradise.” Check out their new parody to the right.
