Brett Eldredge is here with a new song and a new album! "Gabrielle" is the first new song released by him in nearly three years. The song is a set around acoustic guitar, piano, and Eldredge's voice asking the question of what went wrong.
The song was written and produced alongside Ian Fitchuk and Daniel Tashian, who have also worked with Kacey Musgraves on her Grammy-winning "Golden Hour."
Why is the song called "Gabrielle" and who is "Gabrielle?" According to Elredge, “Daniel said it’s so personal that it needs to be the actual person’s name, or a name that can be tied to this memory. I had the name ‘Gabrielle’ and it fit perfect. It’s all about that feeling of being in a relationship where you look back and wonder why it didn’t work out. It’s so unique and nostalgic, and it was something we felt was important to be the lead single. It says a lot about what this record is going to be.”
The album, "Bring You Back" is expected to be released on July 10.
