Today marks the one-year anniversary of the Route 91 Festival shooting, and the sad occasion won’t go unnoticed. In fact, country radio stations around the country will observe a one-minute moment of silence today at 10:05 am Vegas time, in honor of the victims of the shooting.
In addition, Nevada stations across all formats will participate, as will some record companies, publishers, music organizations like the CMAs and the ACMs, in Nashville, and other music cities.
In some cases the moment of silence will actually be 58 seconds, as a way of commemorating the 58 lives lost.
