Rascal Flatts Reveal Their Roles In The Thanksgiving Meal

When it comes to Thanksgiving, the guys in Rascal Flatts hold down all sorts of jobs, although they don’t all help with the meal. 

Gary LeVox jokes that his job is to “stay out of the way,” although he does say he makes homemade ice cream for the meal. Joe Don Rooney has a bigger job on the holiday, noting, “Every other year I’ll deep fry turkey.”

And while Jay DeMarcus has an important role to play, it has nothing to do with cooking. “My wife’s mom still cooks so there’s not anything for me to do,” he says. “They just want me to stay away and pay for stuff.”
