Scotty McCreery Takes The Polar Plunge In Place

As we previously told you, Scotty McCreery signed on to take part in the Special Olympics of North Carolina's Polar Plunge In Place fundraising event, and he just shared his contribution. 

The singer posted video of him jumping in his pool in North Carolina, along with his dog Moose. "It is freezing here in North Carolina, but I am here to raise awareness and money for the Special Olympics of North Carolina," he says in the video. "We are gonna Plunge in Place... I think Moose is gonna join in with me." 

Scotty then leans back into the pool, but didn’t stay long, jumping right out and saying “it’s cold,” although Moose wound up jumping back in.

• The Polar Plunge in Place replaced the annual Polar Plunge, where folks jump into cold water, like lakes or oceans, in groups. Instead the fundraiser encouraged folks to take their plunge anywhere they could. Check it out to the right.
