This was a big weekend for new country music, with several artists releasing new tunes.

  • Thomas Rhett took to Instagram to share another new tune, “Country Again.” “Sorry for the overload of songs, but I have been writing like crazy," Thomas shared in a new video. "I've been in this business for about ten years and I've been through a lot of change, and I feel like lately I've somewhat rediscovered myself." Check out the song to the right.
  • Brett Young dropped the new song “Lady,” which features a clip of daughter Presley’s heartbeat, which was recorded when wife Taylor was two months pregnant. “‘Lady’ is easily one of the most special songs I’ve ever written,” Brett shares. “It’s a message to Presley about her mom and it became a pretty obvious choice for my first single in a new chapter of music.” He adds, “It’s so meaningful to Taylor and I, and I hope it resonates in a similar way for anyone who listens.” Check it out to the right.
  • Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman has recruited Brad Paisley, Lauren Alaina and Tasha Cobbs Leonard for the new song “Together (We’ll Get Through This),” with proceeds going the Opry Trust Fund and Gospel Music Association "to assist those who've been gravely affected" by the pandemic. Check it out to the right.
  • Rascal Flatts is paying tribute to the late Kenny Rogers with a cover of his classic tune “Through The Years.” The band originally performed the song on last month’s special, “CMT Giants Kenny Rogers: A Benefit for MusiCares.” Check it out to the right.
