Trisha Yearwood has the happiest song in country music. A “happiness index” by Buzz Bingo looks back at songs from the past 60 years, and has picked Trisha’s 1999 single “Powerful Thing” as the happiest song in country music, scoring a 67.85 on the index.
Other country songs to make the list include Lucy Hale’s 2014 single “You Sound Good to Me,” followed by Eddie Rabbitt’s 1981 number one, “I Love a Rainy Night,” and Ronnie Dove’s 1966 track “Happy Summer Days.”
As for the saddest country song, Glen Campbell’s “Too Late To Worry, Too Blue to Cry” earned that “honor.”
