Update: Willie Nelson Will Still Be At Farm Aid

Willie Nelson has been forced to cancel some tour dates due to a “breathing problem,” but contrary to initial reports he is expected to be back on stage for Farm Aid next month. 

Willie’s rep says only six shows have been affected by the cancelation, and he is still set to join John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews, Neil Young and Bonnie Raitt for Farm Aid in East Troy, Wisconsin on September 21st. Following that, Willie has concert dates confirmed through November 29th in Thackerville, Oklahoma. Click here for a complete schedule. 

All the shows canceled are part of Willie’s tour with Alison Krauss. The dates include:

  • August 9th: Grand Rapids, MI -Van Andel Arena
  • August 10th: Huntington, WV -Big Sandy Superstore Arena
  • August 12th: Florence, SC - Florence Center
  • August 14th: Charlottesville, VA - John Paul Jones Arena
  • August 16th: Greenville, SC - Bon Secours Wellness Arena
  • August 17th Greensboro, NC - Greensboro Coliseum Complex
