Amy Grant Undergoes Heart Surgery

As we previously told you, back in February, Amy Grant revealed that she had been diagnosed with a heart condition that she has had since birth. At the time she said the condition was “fixable,” and it seems she’s now taken steps to fix it.
The singer’s team announced on Facebook that she was undergoing heart surgery. The note read, “With all that is going on in our world that needs our collective prayer, please also join us in praying for Amy this week as she has heart surgery to correct her PAPVR condition.”
Her reps told People, "Thankfully the doctor said it could not have gone better. We’re praying for a full and easy recovery over the next days, weeks and months to come."
