Garth Brooks was back with another edition of “Inside Studio G,” and as promised he revealed the title of his much-anticipated new album, which will be called “Fun,” with Garth noting it’s because making the album was simply a “fun process.”
As for when the album will be out, Garth said probably “sometime this spring,” offering he’ll have more news “pretty soon.” He did seem to hint that something would be coming February 7th, so it could be that’s when the official word on its release will be coming, or it could be something else.
Garth also hinted at a very interesting release for fans. Last week he asked them to reveal some important dates in their lives, and he mentioned that he’ll be releasing a “package so rare” that folks will be able to get them numbered, using those important dates.
- Also during the episode: Garth wished Dolly Parton a happy birthday, and said he’d be on hand next month to help celebrate her MusiCares Person of the Year honor; He insisted that any so-called VIP tickets to his shows that turn up on Stub Hub aren’t really legit; He continues to tease vinyl releases, noting “vinyl is the word for 2019,” and says even the new album will be released on vinyl.
