George Strait Drops New Single, “Every Little Honky Tonk Bar”

George Strait is set to release his 30th studio album, “Honky Tonk Time,” on March 29th and now he’s dropped the first single from the record.
The track, “Every Little Honk Tonk Bar,” was written with his son Bubbaand Dean Dillon, and George says it was inspired by something Bubba said during their writing sesstion. George notes that they were writing at his Texas ranch and before they called it a night he asked, “does anybody have anything else?” which is when Bubba shared, “Whiskey is the gasoline that lights the fire that burns the bridge.”
He notes, “Dean and I go, ‘What? Where did that come from?’ So, anyway, that’s how it started and we finished it that night.” Check out a clip of the song above.
