Jon Pardi Is Planning A “Chill” Christmas This Year

Like most people, Jon Pardi and new wife Summer will be scaling down their holiday celebrations.
“I think it’s just gonna be chill, staying home, a couple friends over,” he says, “you know, a couple of stragglers who doesn’t have a place to go COVID-free, and cook a meal and just celebrate Christmas low-key.”
He adds, “You can’t really do the big gatherings and it doesn’t seem like California is going to be the best place to go visit. So, I think we’re just gonna chill at the house and have Christmas.”
But while he’s chilling, Jon just may watch some of his favorite holiday movies. Jon says that while he’s a fan of the raunchy Christmas comedy “Bad Santa,” usually, if he’s watching with his little cousins the movie choice tends to be “Elf.”
“Elf is pretty much probably one of the funniest Christmas movies to ever be that new and come out and beat out all of the old Christmas movies,” he says. “It is definitely up there.”
