Kelsea Ballerini Shares Disappointment With CMA Nomination Snub

As we told you, Kelsea Ballerini was one of the musicians who did not earn a CMA nomination, despite releasing a new album this year, and she’s expressed her disappointment on social media. 

“Last time this happened, I wrote homecoming queen the next day about the feeling,” she tweeted, referring to her 2019 single, “homecoming queen?,” “Something beautiful will undoubtedly come from the current disappointment.” 

She added, “nonetheless, congratulations to my friends & peers that got nominations. proud to be a part of the country family, always.” 

The post garnered comments from several of her superstar friends, including Kane Brown, who noted, “hold your head up,” and Old Dominion, who tweeted, “We see you.”
