It’s official, there’s now a new Hot 100 record holder. Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, tops the “Billboard” Hot 100 chart for a 17th week, making it the sole record holder for the most weeks at number one on the Hot 100 chart.
With the additional week, the tune now breaks the three-way tie for most weeks that it shared with Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s “One Sweet Day” and Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito.” But that’s not the song’s only record. The tune also tops the Streaming Songs chart for a 17th week, surpassing “Despacito."
