Miranda Lambert On Finding Happiness

Miranda Lambert is definitely happy right now, and she credits a lot of that to her husband Brendon McLoughlin. 

"When you truly find someone that loves you for who you are, and that you genuinely are smiling, it's like a smile from the inside. You know what I mean?" she explains in a “Sunday Today” interview with Willie Geist that will air this weekend. "It's a light that kind of clicks on, that you really didn't know was off."

As for what she loves about her man, Miranda shares that he’s "pretty laid back and friendly and sweet and just very go-with-the-flow kind of guy, which is great for this life 'cause you kind of have to go with the flow."

 And that happiness has had a definite influence on Miranda’s music, including the songs on her new album “Wildcard,” which drops today. She notes, “It definitely feels good to be singing a few love songs,” although she adds, “Let's not get crazy. I don't want to get too happy, where I can't write a sad song."
