Reba McEntire Opens Up About Finding In Love Again

When Reba McEntire divorced husband Narvel Blackstock in 2015 the last thing she expected was to find love again, but that’s exactly what happened with new beau Anthony “Skeeter” Lasuzzo, who she’s been dating for the past year and a half. 

“I was not looking,” she tells “People” of her life post divorce. “Not even interested.” But then she met Skeeter, a 70-year-old wildlife photographer and a friend of Kix Brooks, while on vacation in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He was there to show Reba and her group the best places to spot animals.

“We just had the best time,” she said. “And so two nights later, we all went out to dinner, and he bought my dinner.” Two months later when she returned to Jackson Hole he asked her out, noting, “I was there almost a week and we spent every day together.”

Reba, whose new album “Stronger Than The Truth” drops Friday, says their relationship got serious “gradually,” sharing now, “we’re totally in love — absolutely,” adding, “I wouldn’t put up with somebody for two years if I wasn’t in love with ’em!”

• ONE MORE THING! Reba is set to host the ACM Awards Sunday and she’s definitely looking forward to it. "It's like a family reunion when you go to an awards show," she tells the Hollywood Reporter In Studio. "You see all your buddies and your friends, and you have new friends because there are a lot of the newcomers that I haven't met yet, so I’m looking forward to that."
