Riley Green’s Working On New Year’s Eve

Like a lot of artists, Riley Green will be working on New Year’s Eve, but it’s something he hasn’t done in a while. While performing NYE may sound like a great gig, Riley says that’s just not the case. 

“I haven’t played a New Year’s show in like six years,” he says, noting, “New Year’s is not really a good time for musicians to play because bars never wanted to pay anything because people are going to show up anyway.”

But Riley is making an exception this year, especially since his gig isn’t too far from home. He’s scheduled to play the Bama Slam Saloon, in New Brockton, Alabama which is about two hours and 45 minutes south of his hometown of Jackson.
