Sheryl Crow On Picking Guests For Her New Album “Threads”

Sheryl Crow is set to release her new album “Threads” on August 30th featuring a host of special guests, including Eric Clapton, Sting, Chris Stapleton, Bonnie Raitt, Maren Morris, Keith Richards, Willie Nelson, Jason Isbell and more.
Sheryl says in choosing who to record with she initially reflected “on all the people that have inspired me to be where I am right now,” noting, “it really lit a fire in me to just consider all the people that I’ve loved and to create a musical experience that we could share.”
She then she started thinking about the future of music, sharing that there are, “so many young people I feel like are taking that baton into the future.”
She adds, “So it’s just really an album of love and admiration for the people that have inspired me.”
