The Swon Brothers Drop New Song “Mommas”

The Swon Brothers are back with a new song, “Mommas,” and it’s timed perfectly for Mother’s Day. The brothers says the song was inspired after their mother’s phone call interrupted one of their writing sessions.
"We didn't even sit down to write a song about mom. She called during another write that we have another song that we were writing and kind of interrupted the process,” Colton shared in a recent interview, “and she was like, 'Hey, I'm just checking on you boys,' and I think it was over a storm warning or something, you know, being a mom, and so we got off the phone, and we were like, 'Man, thank God for mommas' and that's how this song originated.”
Zach adds, “We just kind of ditched the other song and were kind of like, 'Hey, we are on to something,' and then we ended up crying the entire time we wrote." Check out the song to the right.
