Thomas Rhett Wants “What’s Your Country Song” To Spark Memories For Fans

Thomas Rhett’s latest single “What’s Your Country Song” name checks country tunes from Alan Jackson, Florida Georgia Line, Merle Haggard, Alabama, Garth Brooks and more, and Thomas says there’s good reason they are all in there.
Thomas notes, “we picked a lot of songs that I feel like really shaped me as an artist,” although he hopes the way they weaved the song titles together helps get the message they wanted across.
“Hopefully when the listener’s listening, they don’t really hear the song titles,” he explains, “but it sounds more like a story.” Thomas says he wants them to be able to “make their own interpretation of the song,” and to start to think, “what were my songs that kind of defined my life?”
