The 11th annual CMA Country Christmas aired last night, with some of today's biggest country acts helping folks get into the holiday spirit. This year's show was hosted by Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren Akins, who kept things fun and light, and even ended the night with a cameo of their three adorable daughters Willa, Ada and Lennon, dressed in maching pajamas.
Songs performed on the show included:
- Lady A kicked things off with Paul McCartney's “Wonderful Christmastime” and later returned to wrap up the show with “Little Saint Nick”
- Kelsea Ballerini, who revealed that one of her favorite Christmas traditions is a "Jammie Day," performed “Santa Baby.”
- Tim McGraw sang “It Wasn’t His Child” while sitting alongside a roaring fire.
- Florida Georgia Line had some fun with their new holiday tune “Lit This Year.”
- Mommy-to-be Gabby Barrett, dressed in head to toe red velvet, sang “The First Noel.”
- Darius Rucker teamed with violinist Lindsey Sterling for a performance of “What Child Is This?"
- Thomas Rhett performed “Christmas In The Country.”
- Dan + Shay, decked out in tuxedos, performed their recently released holiday tune “Christmas Isn’t Christmas.”
- Little Big Town did some caroling with “Christmas Time Is Here.”
