Nashville’s CMA Fest was canceled this year because of the coronavirus, but ABC is bringing the experience to homes next month with a three-hour retrospective of past CMA Fests.

Alan Jackson was back on stage this weekend, performing his first drive-in concerts. The two shows took place in Alabama, the happeingn in rural Cullman, on York Farms the site of Rock the South, for about 2,000 vehicles.

John Prine’s friends and admirers took part in the benefit livestream "Picture Show: A Tribute Celebrating John Prine,” which featured the debut of a brand new Prine song.

While the concert industry as practically shut down in the wake of the coronavirus, Granger Smith was back on stage performing for a crowd this weekend. The singer performed alongside his band in Tyler, Texas, and shared a picture from the gig on social media.

During an appearance on “Good Morning America” Garth announced he’ll headline a very special drive-in concert.  “Encore Live Presents a Garth Brooks Drive In Concert Experience” will take place June 27^th, airing at 300 drive-ins across North America.

After 14 years, Lady Antebellum is no more. Well, not exactly...the group has announced that they've changed their name due to the negative connotations of the word 'Antebellum.' From now on they will simply go by Lady A.

Jason Isbell, Amanda Shires and Rosanne Cash are among the artist confirmed for the streaming concert “Keep the Music Playing,” set for June 17^th.  The event, presented by Nashville’s Acme Radio Live and sponsored by Jack Daniel’s, will benefit the Music Health Alliance. 

Ruston Kelly is ready to drop some new music this summer. The singer will release his new album “Shape and Destroy” on August 28^th, featuring guest appearances by wife Kacey Musgraves, dad Tim “TK” Kelly, and sister Abby Kelly. 

It looks like Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are ready to make things legal. A source tells “Us Weekly” that they want to get married but they are waiting for the coronavirus social distancing requirements to end.

Margo Price has set a new release date for her album “That’s How Rumors Get Started." The album was originally supposed to come out May 8^th but was pushed back because of the coronavirus. Well, now it’s set to be released on July 10^th.

Jimmy Buffett is set to make his Grand Ole Opry debut. The singer, whose new album “Life on the Flipside” tops the “Billboard” Top Country Album chart this week, is set to perform at the Nashville institution on Saturday, June 27^th.

Jason Isbell is already looking towards touring in 2021. The singer just announced a new set of tour dates, featuring special guests Strand of Oaks and Lucinda Williams on select dates. 

As we previously told you, the late John Prine’s life will be celebrated later this week with a special livestream, “Picture Show: A Tribute Celebrating John Prine,” and now we know who will be paying tribute to the late singer.
